Sub: School Education – Capturing of Teacher, student, and employee - attendance through integrated attendance mobile application in all schools, offices under the control of School Education Department - Certain instructions - Issued.
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are informed that an integrated Student, Teacher, and Employee attendance with leave management module has been developed for capturing of students, teacher and employee attendance in all schools, offices of School Education department in Real time.
The following guidelines are issued in utilization of the application and marking of the student, teacher and employee attendance through this application is mentioned hereunder.
Student Attendance:
The said attendance application shall be downloaded from Google Play
Student attendance shall be marked on every working day of the school by all schools under all managements before 10 a.m.
This attendance shall be considered for all on-going schemes, programs etc. such as Mid-Day Meal, JVK, Ammavodi and all other benefits that are being provided by the Government. If any student fails to get any government benefits due to the absence of attendance through mobile app, the school management / Headmaster/ Teacher will be held responsible and are liable for appropriate departmental action.
Separate logins shall be provided for monitoring the status, concerned inspecting officers are held responsible for submission of student attendance on every working They should go through the dashboard on every working day and to follow-up the schools that have not been marked their student attendance.
Henceforth all the manual attendance in the schools are dispensed The physical (manual) attendance if any maintained shall not be considered for any government programs/ schemes and for promoting to the next class.
Teacher Attendance:
All Teachers working in all schools under government management shall mark their attendance through the integrated attendance mobile application only.
Teacher attendance shall be marked on every working day of the school by all schools under all government managements before 9.00 a.m.
Grace period shall not be considered for marking of teacher
Teachers who fail to mark their attendance in time on every working day will be directed to apply the eligible leave on that day through the leave module only.
Teachers who desire to apply any kind of leave shall obtain the prior permission of the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer through the leave module
Once the DDO approve the leave then only teacher is considered on
DDO shall approve/reject the leave through the logins provided before 00 a.m. on the same day. However, leave applications with prior permission may be approved well in advance.
Head of the institutions concerned shall ensure that all staff have marked their attendance or leave on daily basis through the dashboard, for any discrepancies the Head of the institution will be held responsible for the teacher attendance.
Time to time instructions issued by the authorities shall be followed scrupulously.
Employee attendance:
All employees including outsourcing staff in all government offices under School Education department shall mark their attendance through the integrated attendance mobile application

All the DDOs/responsible officers shall ensure that all staff working.
Leaves shall be applied through the leave management module only.
Leaves shall be granted by the DDO/HoD/ sanctioning authorities concerned through their respective logins.
Leave module:
Leave module is provided in the integrated student, teacher and employee attendance mobile
Leaves applied by the staff concerned shall be approved/rejected by the concerned authorities well in advance to enable the staff to attend the duty in
All leaves shall be approved/rejected by the concerned authorities in the web logins
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state hereby directed to instruct all the field functionaries to ensure that all Headmasters, teachers, and employees in government offices of School Education department download and install the integrated attendance mobile application for marking their attendance including students’ attendance. The user manual is attached herewith.
The dashboard will be provided to track the teacher attendance and to take further necessary action in this regard.
These instructions should be followed If any deviations in this regard, shall be treated very seriously and disciplinary action will be initiated against the concerned as per rules in-force.
