By deputation.

Officers under the Central Government or State Government Union Territories or Statutory Organisations holding analogous posts or with eight years of regular service in the post in the scale of Rs. 4000-100-6000 (5h CPC)/ PB-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200/ + GP Rs. 2400/- (6m CPC) corresponding to a pay scale of Rs. 2550081100/- (Level 4) of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix or equivalent

The maximum age limit for the appointment of deputation should not exceed 56 years.
