JNV: నవోదయ విద్యాలయాల్లో 9వ తరగతి లేటరల్ ఎంట్రీ ప్రవేశాలు
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 650 జవహర్ నవోదయ విద్యాలయా (జేఎన్బీ) లో తొమ్మిదో తరగతిలో ఖాళీల సీట్ల భర్తీ(లేటరల్ ఎంట్రీ)కి సంబంధించి కేంద్ర మానవ వనరుల అభివృద్ధి మంత్రిత్వశాఖ జేఎన్పీ ఎంపిక పరీక్షకు దరఖాస్తులు కోరుతోంది. హిందీ, ఇంగ్లిష్, తెలుగు మూడు భాషల్లోనూ విద్యార్థుల్లో మూడు భాషల్లోనూ విద్యార్థుల్లో సామర్థ్యం పెంపు, వలస విద్యా విధానం ద్వారా జాతీయ సమైక్యత పెంపొందించడం జేఎన్వీ ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో 15, తెలంగాణలో 9 జేఎన్వీలు ఉన్నాయి. ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ద్వారా ఎంపికైన విద్యార్థులకు 9వ తరగతి నుంచి 12వ తరగతి వరకు ఉచిత విద్య అందిస్తారు. బాలబాలికలకు వేర్వేరు ఆవాస, వసతి సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించారు.
జవహర్ నవోదయ విద్యాలయ ఎంపిక పరీక్ష- 9వ తరగతి లేటరల్ ఎంట్రీ ప్రవేశాలు
అర్హత: ప్రవేశానికి అర్హత పొందాలంటే విద్యార్థి తప్పనిసరిగా జవహర్ నవోదయ విద్యాలయం ఉన్న సంబంధిత జిల్లాల్లో నివాసి అయి ఉండాలి. విద్యార్థులు 2023-24 విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో ఆయా జిల్లాల్లోని ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రభుత్వ గుర్తింపు పొందిన పాఠశాలల్లో ఎనిమిదో చదువుతుండాలి. తరగతి
వయసు: 01.05.2009 నుంచి 31.07.2011 మధ్య జన్మించి ఉండాలి.
ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష: జవహర్ నవోదయ ప్రవేశానికి నిర్వహించే రాత పరీక్షలో వచ్చే మార్కులు ఆధారంగా విద్యార్థుల ఎంపిక ఉంటుంది. ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ప్రశ్నపత్రంలో నాలుగు విభాగాలు (ఇంగ్లిష్, హిందీ, సైన్స్, మ్యాథమెటిక్స్) ఉంటాయి. మొత్తం 100 ప్రశ్నలు 100 మార్కులకు 2.30 గంటల సమయంలో ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది పరీక్ష పేపర్ ఇంగ్లిష్, హిందీ భాషలో ఉంటుంది.
దరఖాస్తు విధానం: ఆన్లైన్లో జేఎన్పీ అధికారిక వైబ్సైట్ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనేందుకు అభ్యర్థులు నిర్ణీత ఫార్మాట్లో అభ్యర్థి వివరాలను పేర్కొంటూ పాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుడు ధ్రువీకరించిన సర్టిఫికెట్ సాఫ్ట్ కాపీని అప్లోడ్ చేయడం తప్పనిసరిని. దీంతో పాటు అభ్యర్థి ఫొటో, అభ్యర్థి, తల్లిదండ్రుల సంతకాలు, ఆధార్ వివరాలు/ నివాస ద్రువపత్రాలు అవసరం ఉంటుంది.
ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తుకు చివరి తేదీ: 31-10-2023.
ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష తేదీ: 10-02-2024.
JNV Class IX LEST 2024 NOTIFICATION
In order to optimally utilize the infrastructure and other facilities available in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, it has been decided by the Samiti to fill the vacant seats in Class IX. Admission will be made on the basis of selection test, which will be conducted by an external agency as per the policy of NVS.
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to Class IX, only against the vacant seats, likely to be available in JNVs during the academic year 2024-25.
VENUE & DATE OF THE SELECTION TEST
Selection Test for admission to Class IX will be conducted on Saturday, the 10th February 2024 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of concerned district/ any other centre allotted by NVS.
RESULT OF SELECTION TEST
Result of the Selection Test may be noted from the application portal of NVS through which application is submitted. Result will be notified in the Vidyalaya Notice Board as well as published in the website of JNVs concerned. Selected candidates will also be intimated by Speed/registered post.
Eligibility to apply
Only those candidates who are Bonafede residents &studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2023-24 in one of the /Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible. District of residence and district of class VIII study should be same in respect of candidates who desire to apply for admission to class IX (session 2024-25) in the JNV located in the same district.
Candidate appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class VIII in the academic session 2023-24 from a Govt./Govt. recognized school in the district where he/she is seeking The students who have already passed class VIII in previous academic sessions are not eligible. Date of Birth of the candidate must be between 1st May 2009 to 31st July 2011 (both days inclusive).This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti reserves the right to refer any candidate to a MEDICAL BOARD for confirmation of the age of the candidate, in case any doubt arises about the age on the basis of certificate produced by the candidate before confirmation of admission.

Reservation
The existing vacant seats in the SC/ST/OBC category as notified are reserved for the SC/ST/OBC students. The reservation to the OBC students shall be implemented as per central list as applicable from time to time. The OBC candidates whose caste is not included in the central list should apply as General candidate. Tentative vacancy position mentioned in the notification may be referred. If suitable qualified candidates in a particular category are not available, candidates will be selected for admission as per NVS criteria.
This facility may be used for Aadhaar enrolment with necessary documents by the candidates.
