BSF Recruitment 2023 – Educational Qualifications:
Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or the Central Armed Police Forces:-
Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or With ten years regular service in post in Level-4 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25500-81100), and
Educational Qualifications for Sub Inspector (Works)
Pass three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognised by the Central Govern- ment or the State Government.
For Ex-Servicemen
Deputation/ Re-employment- The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite prescribed qualifications and experience shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.

BSF SI Recruitment 2023 – Age Limit
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 52 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications
