కొంత మంది నీటిపై వెల్లకిలా పద్మాసనం వేసి గంటలతరబడి తేలియాడుతారు. అదెలా సాద్యం ?

సాధారణ మానవుడి శరీర సాంద్రత నీటి సాంద్రత కన్నా కొంచమే ఎక్కువ కావడం వల్ల ఈతకొట్టకపోతే మనిషి మునుగుతాడు. ఈత రాక మరణిస్తే శవమై తేలడానికి కారణం చనిపోయిన వ్యక్తి దేహపు సాంద్రత నీటి సాంద్రతకన్నా తక్కువ కావడమే. ప్రాణంతో ఉన్న వ్యక్తి ఓ పద్ధతి ప్రకారం నీటిలోకి దిగి పద్మాసనం వేసుకొనే సందర్భంలో వీపు కింద ఖాళీ ఏర్పడి అక్కడ గాలి బుడగలు ఏర్పడేలా నేర్పరితనంతో కూర్చుంటాడు. అందువల్ల ఎంత సేపైనా తేలియాడుతూ ఉండగలడు.
