Request:

The Government has been executing school wellbeing program covering around 35.8 lakh kids concentrating in around 46,823 schools with a yearly consumption of Rs. 128.01 lakhs.

The Government announces each Thursday as the School Health Day. Each wellbeing functionary – MPHA (F)/MPHA (M)/MPHS/CHO/MPHEO/CHN and so forth – will visit atleast one school each Thursday for observing the prosperity of understudies and to spread data on any theme identifying with wellbeing and cleanliness.

The District Collector may co-select delegates of NGOs, educators and specialists in the board. A Mandal Steering Committee will be set up for each Mandal with MDO as the Chairman and MEO and PHC Medical Officer as the Joint Convenors.

The Government orders for the foundation of a post of Jawahar Bala Arogya Raksha Coordinator in the NRHM-District Program Management Unit (DPMU) to help the District School Health Steering Committee incapable execution of the program.

A Deputy Civil Surgeon or a senior Civil Assistant Surgeon – with fitness, experience and mastery in kids' wellbeing – will be deputed by the Director of Public Health on unfamiliar help terms to DPMU to work as the JBAR Coordinator. The compensation, remittances and the vehicle will be financed by the District Health Society from the NRHM reserves.
