ENGAGEMENT OF TEACHING FACULTY ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS
(INCLUDING RETIRED ARMY MEDICAL TEACHERS)
Note: Periodical Interview on i" Wednesday of every alternate month for next 6 calendar months shall be conducted for engagement of Teaching Faculty on contractual basis as per the requirement arising. The vacancy position shall be uploaded 1week before on the website. In case of a holiday falling on 1st Wednesday, the schedule of conducting the Interview shall be on next working day by default. Corrigendum whenever issued will also be displayed on website.

Associate Professor A post graduate (i) IAs Assistant Professor in the subject for 4 years in a (5 years of Post PG qualification MD/MS/ permitted/approved/recognized medical college/ experience) DNB in the concerned institution with one Research publication (only

(ii) Research project in lieu of publication/ authorship can be considered only if the person is Principal or Co-Principal investigator (Pl/CoPI) of a research project funded by a national research body such as Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Bio-Technology (DBT) or any such body.
(iii) Should have completed the Basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institution(s) designated by MCI/NMC.
(iv) Should have completed the Basic course in biomedical
. research from Institution(s) designated by MCI/NMC. Further provided that for the transitory period of

appointment/promotion to the post of Associate

Assistant Professor A post graduate 3 years Junior Resident in a recognized permitted medical
qualification MD/MS/ DNB in the concerned college in the concerned subject and one year as Senior
Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized
subject and as per these permitted medical college.
Regulations. In case of DNB candidate equated to MD/MS in terms of
clause 4A of Schedule-I, in addition to 3 year teaching
experience in the subject as Resident/
Registrar/Demonstrator/ Tutor/ or work experience gained
during DNBtraining, one year as Senior Resident in the
concerned subject in a recognized/permitted medical
college
1. AGE LIMIT:
a. For Professor/AssociateProfessor/AssistantProfessor :-Not exceeding 67 years as on date of walk-in
interview.
2. PAY &ALLOWANCES:
a) Consolidated remuneration under 'SRESTA' scheme for retired army doctors (Teaching-Broad specialty) who meet the eligibility criteria for faculty posts is as under:

Assistant Professor g) 1.2 lakh, if the post-PG experience is under 3 years.
(Consultant) h) 1.42 lakh if post-PGteaching experience is 3 years or more. Associate Professor g) 1.42 lakh, if the post-PGexperience is under 6 years. (Consultant) h) il1.88 lakh, if post-PG teaching experience is 6 years or more. Professor j) 1.88 lakh, if post-PG teaching experience is under 9 years.
(Consultant) k) 2.0 lakh, if post-PGteaching experience is 9 years to under 13 years.
I) 2.2 lakh, if post-PG teaching experience is 13 years or more.
b) Consolidated remuneration (other than retired Army Medical Teachers) as on date indifferent categories is
Mode of Payment: A demand draft of Rs. 225/- (as applicable) in favour of ESISavings Fund Alc No.2 drawn on any scheduled bank payable at New Delhi has to be submitted alon~ with the application form.
Note:
1. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
2. Only Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank will be accepted. Application fee paid by any other mode will not be accepted.
3. The demand draft must be issued after the date of issue of this advertisement.
5.The following testimonials should be attached with application form:
(a) Two recent passport size photograph.
(b) Self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age (Date of Birth), Educational Qualification, Experience and Research Papers, Publications etc.
(c) The candidate who is in Service should submit "No Objection Certificate" from the employer at the time
of interview.
(d) Income and Asset and certificate from issuing Authority as per DOPT letter no. 36039/1/2019-Estt(Res)
dated 31stJanuary, 2019 must be submitted for the reservation for EWS Category.
(e) Caste Certificate for SC/ST & OBC candidates. OBC Certificate as per Central Govt. Performa
(not more than one year old) from the date of Interview.

Registration Certificate issued by DMC for Professor/Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Equivalent teaching experience certificate issued by DGAFMS for retired Army Medical Teachers at the time of Interview 6. Selection Procedure:
a)The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the selection Board.
b) Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of offer of Appointment. c) Result will be displayed on web-site.
General Conditions:-
1. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.
2. Application should be submitted on the day of the interview alongwith required testimonials in the prescribed format only. The candidates are required to bring all the documents in original on the date of interview along with self attested copies. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.
3. Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
4. Opportunity of interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.
5. The interviews will be conducted at DEAN OFFICE,s" Floor, MS Office Building, ESI-PGIMSR, BASAIDARAPUR, NEW DELHI-ll00lS. However, E'$ICreserves the right to change the centre, if needed.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for interview.
7. The ESICreserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.
8. As per ESIC HQRS office Memorandum No. L-11/12/3/2014/PG-Basai/Vol-II/MEC(PF) dated
11.09.2010:
a) Candidates with eligibility for a higher post i.e. Professor/Associate Professor would be permitted to be interviewed against a lower post i.e. Associate / Assistant Professor.
b) In event of selection of such candidates, the candidates in the cadre of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor would be considered for placement with suitable up-gradation of the lower post as per eligibility; and recommendation of the selection board.
c) The up-gradation would be temporary and limited to the tenure of the teaching faculty/until the appointment of regular incumbent in the lower post.
